You’ll have full day-to-day involvement in actual projects, selected to match your interests and abilities.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EYou’ll join a project team and work alongside Shell employees who are all professionals in their fields. Their perspectives will contribute to your understanding of our business, its demands and rewards.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EA supervisor and mentor will support you directly and you’ll undertake regular assessments throughout your internship to ensure you get the most from the experience.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Ch2\u003EWhat we look for:\u003C/h2\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EYou’ll be evaluated on your capacity for analysis, decision-making and creating workable solutions, as well as your drive, enthusiasm, resilience and confidence.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EDuring an Assessed Internship, you’ll have a formal mid-term review with your mentor and supervisor. Following this, there will be a final review where there would be a competency based interview. You’ll also be asked to prepare a final presentation about your project.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EYour success in the Assessed Internship could result in you being offered a full time role.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Ch2\u003EOnline Application\u003C/h2\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EFind an Internship in your location by using the search bar then complete your application online – note you can save time by connecting your LinkedIn profile. You can complete a Realistic Job Preview to learn more about the Shell Assessed Internship Programme. You will be asked questions about how you might handle work challenges and collaborate with work colleagues, followed by questions about you! We want to hear your story and learn more about your approach to different situations. Once you complete the Virtual Job Tryout, you will start the On-Demand Video Interview. You will have as much time as you need to prepare for each of the three questions, then you will have two minutes to record your response.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Virtual Job Tryout and On-Demand Video Interview will take approximately 40 minutes. You can save your progress, but it does have to be completed within 7 days of receiving the invitation.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EOnce the Virtual Job Tryout and On-Demand Video Interview are complete, a Shell Recruiter will review your application and responses. It consists of a live online session with two professionals at Shell. During this session, you will be asked to discuss your thoughts on a case study, which you will have a chance to review 48 hours prior to the session. You will need to read and prepare for this, but don’t worry, more information will be provided closer to the time.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EOn the day of your assessment, you will be assigned a topic relating to your case study and then given 20 minutes (30 for non-native English speakers) to prepare a 5-minute presentation. This presentation will be followed by questions and additional scenarios from the assessors for up to 40 minutes.
