Films opens on a biker fiddling with his bike which has broken down on a scenic but lonely stretch of road. He’s relieved to see a truck approaching.

[Background music plays]
Music starts

[Video footage]
The truck stops and biker walks towards the truck.
His jaw drops when he realises the truck driver is a woman (Yogita).
Yogita gestures to him to hop aboard. The man smiles gratefully and they set off.
The truck is seen passing through a scenic landscape.

[Background Song plays]
Song starts in the background

[Video footage]
Cut to inside the cabin of the moving truck. The biker still hasn’t got over his surprise. Yogita (who is used to getting such a reaction) has a half-smile on her face.

[Background music plays]
Music continues in the background

[Dialogue: Biker]
You… drive this..?

[Dialogue: Yogita]
Why?.....Can’t women drive trucks?

[Dialogue: Biker]
Haven’t seen one before… so…

[Dialogue: Yogita]
The plan was to practice law. But… the plan changed.

[Video footage]
Biker looks at her with a ‘what happened’ expression.

[Dialogue: Yogita]
My husband… er..

[Video footage]
Yogita looks upwards to signify that he passed away.

[Dialogue: Biker]
I am Sorry.

[Dialogue: Yogita]
It was a challenge. I took it on.

[Background Muisc plays]
Vocal music in the background

Long shot of the truck, passing through a scenic landscape.
Cut to a beautiful sunset in the hills. Yogita and the biker have stopped by a small roadside eatery. They are sitting on a bench sipping tea.

[Dialogue: Yogita]
You can either hold on to the past,

Cut to inside of the truck, we see a photo of her teen-aged kids.

[Dialogue: Yogita]
…or look ahead.

[Video footage]
The biker looks at the photo of her teen-aged kids.
Yogita has an expression of pride on her face.

They’re both in college

[Video footage]
The biker smiles.
Cut. Through the windshield of the truck, we see them pulling into a Shell fuel station.
Shell attendant refuels the truck.

[Video footage]
Parting ways at the fuel station. The biker is about to get onto his motorcycle. He looks up at Yogita sitting in her truck.

[Dialogue: Biker]

The film opens on a journalist at a film shoot location. He’s approaching a vanity van, in front of which a spot boy is flipping through a magazine.

[Dialogue: Journalist]
I’m here to interview…

[Video footage]
Spot boy replies, without looking up

[Dialogue: Spot Boy]
Madam is getting her make-up done.

[Video footage]
The journalist hears someone call for action

[Dialogue: A Male voice]
And roll camera, roll sound, background…action

[Video footage]
The journalist turns to see the shot that is being filmed. We hear the roar of motorcycle engines. A motorcycle speeds towards a ramp and jumps into the air. Cut to a video monitor that shows the bike landing.

[Dialogue: A Male voice]
Cut….

[Background Music plays]
Music begins

[Video footage]
The rider takes off the helmet and is revealed to be a pretty young woman. The journalist is amazed to see a woman performing this stunt and says to himself

[Dialogue: Journalist]
Now, that’s a story!

[Video footage]
The spot boy looks up from his magazine as the journalist rushes to interview the stuntwoman (Geeta).
Geeta is talking to her co-riders when the journalist interrupts her, with an expression of curiosity on his face.

[Dialogue: Journalist]
Excuse me!

[Video footage]
Geeta turns around and the journalist flashes his ID card and asks her a question.

[Dialogue: Journalist]
Such a dangerous stunt? Aren’t you…

[Video footage]
Flushed with the excitement of what she’s just done, Geeta interrupts him with a casual statement

[Dialogue: Geeta]
This?? I’ve faced bigger dangers earlier.

[Video footage]
As she speaks, she turns around and starts walking towards a large shed and the journalist follows her in excitement to know more.

[Dialogue: Journalist]
Earlier?

[Video footage]
They continue talking, while walking towards the shed

[Dialogue: Geeta]
I was married off as a child. And those people were dangerous.
I left him.

[Dialogue: Journalist]
And then?

[Video footage]
The conversation continues while they enter the shed. It’s like a makeshift garage where a team of mechanics is taking care of the vehicles being used in the stunt sequences. Tools, spare parts and Shell products are visible on the workbench. A car is being prepared for the next shot. Geeta continues to talk

[Dialogue: Geeta]
Then…I had to feed my kids, so I started making roti-bread…
…500 pieces a day

[Video footage]
Journalist has a ‘whaaat?!’ expression on his face. Geeta says with a big smile on her face

[Dialogue: Geeta]
… at a canteen.

[Video footage]
The journalist is eager to learn more, but Geeta has already climbed into the driver’s seat. She’s adjusting the rear-view mirror.

[Dialogue: Geeta]
My story is a long one.
But if I keep looking at the rear-view mirror, how will I move forward?

[Video footage]
They both share a smile.
Cut to Shell Helix Lubricant Oil is being poured into the car. Getting it ready for the next stunt.
Shots of the car bonnet is being closed, Geeta putting on a helmet, headlights coming on, shifting a gear.
She revs the car and speeds off towards a ramp. Her car leaps into the air.

[Background Song plays]
The music swells and we hear a refrain

[Vocals]
My dreams are unleashed
And flying free

[Video footage]
The car lands. Cut to a helmeted stunt woman coming out of a different car.
As she takes off the helmet, it is revealed that she is the real life Geeta Tandon

A glass of lassi, please.

5 or 6 motorcycles are parked near the girls’ table.
A waiter gets the glass of lassi (a curd-based drink).

[Dialogue: Sumitra]
Lassi? Don’t fall asleep on the bike after this (In a joking manner)

A drone shot shows the bikes cruising through pretty countryside. An SUV is at the rear of the group.

One of the co-travellers expresses her happiness. She is sitting next to Sumitra Senapaty, who is driving the SUV.

This is fun. So happy I came

We see in the rearview mirror, Sumitra smiles and gives an acknowledging nod.
Cut to a curious girl co-traveller, sitting in the back of the SUV.

From where did you get this rocking idea?

[Dialogue: Sumita]
From your home.

Families don’t realise that their daughters and daughters-in-law need a break from them, not with them.

[Video footage]
The girl at the back has a faint smile on her face, an expression of understanding.
A close up zooming out to a wide drone shot, which shows the bikes and the SUV cruising through a pretty town.

Cut to the group pulling into a Shell fuel station. The bikes are getting refuelled, one of the bikes is getting a top-up of Shell Advance Lubricant Oil and two of the girls are girls coming out of the Deli2go outlet holding coffee cups.

Vocals and music continue in the background

Close shot of Sumitra’s hand shifting gear. A late evening shot of the bikes cruising alongside a stream and crossing a small bridge.

Cut to a night shot of a beach. The women are sitting around a campfire, laughing and talking, one of them is playing a guitar.

So I thought – let’s make a group of these solo travellers.
Full safety and full of fun.

A shy member of the group hesitantly asks Sumitra.

May I say something?

The others look at her, wondering what she is going to say. She gathers her courage and begins to sing

[Vocals]

The music swells and we hear the refrain

As she sings, the others provide the beat with handclaps and dance. The singing continues while the shot dissolves to the group enjoying themselves at the beach the next morning, chasing each other and jumping in the sand

Cut to a late evening shot of the real life Sumitra getting into an SUV and buckling up.
