Terms and Conditions:

These terms prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions can be found here to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions.

1. Start date

This promotion will start on 1, November 2025 through @Shell_India_Official, Instagram handle of Shell India Markets Privat Limited (“Shell India”) in India. To qualify for this promotion, you must be a resident of India.

2. Closing date

The closing date for this contest is 7, November 2025 at 11:59 P.M.

3. Selection of the winner

• Follow Requirement: The participant must follow the official Instagram account of Shell India, available at @Shell_India_Official (“Official Instagram Account”).
• Engagement with Official Post: The participant must express engagement by liking the designated contest post published on the Official Instagram Account.
• The participant must tag a fellow rider (Instagram user) in the comment section of the original contest post.
• Comment Submission: To qualify for consideration in the Motoverse Contest, each participant is required to submit a comment on the official contest post. The comment must briefly (within two to three lines) describe a memorable or extraordinary motorcycle riding experience involving the use of Shell Advance.
• Eligibility for selection shall be determined based on the quality and relevance of the submitted comment, as well as the participant’s full compliance with all the contest conditions as outlined in the original contest post. Shell India reserves the right to evaluate entries at its sole discretion and to disqualify any participant who fails to meet the requirements.
• Any entries that are protected by copyright or trademark or are without the permission of the author or the owner or are defamatory, illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, harmful, or unfit according to Shell India will not be considered valid and may be removed from the Official Instagram Account. 
• The contest is being hosted by Shell India in partnership with multiple content creators. Five winners will be selected from all the entries submitted to Shell_India_Official and/or all the multiple content creators.

3.1. Rules of Contest:

• Participant must be minimum 18 years of age and an Indian resident
• Participant must follow Official Instagram Account 
• As the winners will be contacted by Shell India via Direct Message (DM) on Instagram, the participants hereby grant the consent for same
• Winners will have to respond to the DM within 72 hours
• Winners will have to share a valid Government ID (preferable Driving License) & share their valid postal address
• To be eligible, participants must ensure their Instagram profile is set to public for contest visibility and verification

4. Prize:

The prize is as follows:

• Selection of Winners: A total of five (5) participants shall be shortlisted to receive complimentary passes to attend Motoverse 2025, scheduled to be held in Vagator, Goa, from 21st to 23rd November 2025.
• Travel and Accommodation Vouchers: Each selected winner shall be awarded travel and accommodation vouchers in the form of MakeMyTrip vouchers. These shall include:
• One flight and hotel voucher valued at INR 31,000 only/-
• Voucher Redemption Period: The vouchers shall be valid for redemption from 10th November 2025 until 10th December 2025. Redemption beyond this period shall not be permitted under any circumstances.
• Voucher redemption shall be governed by the validity period and the terms and conditions specified by the respective service provider
• Scope of Rewards: The rewards are strictly limited to the event passes and the specified travel and accommodation vouchers. No additional benefits, reimbursements, or entitlements shall be provided. No cash or other alternative prize will be provided in whole or in part, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control Shell India reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value.
• Exchanges will not be provided in the event of logistics, transportation issues or damages, incorrect address or any other reason whatsoever.
• The winner shall be decided solely by Shell India and its shall be conclusive, final and binding on all participants.
• Shell India reserves all the rights to change, modify or suspend or cancel the contest or the prize/conditions of the contest without prior notice.

5. Notification of the results and receipt of the prize

Shell India will notify the winner by Direct Message on Instagram within 7 calendar days of the end of the contest period. Participants are advised to check for the same. If Shell India is unable to contact a winner or doesn’t get a response within 72 hours, it reserves the right to reallocate the prize to another winner. To claim the prize, the winner must provide evidence of residency in India. Such evidence must be provided in the form of a driving license (or any other Government issued ID proof as may be acceptable to Shell India) and the utility bill (as the address proof) dated no more than three months prior to the date when it is requested. When the prize is claimed successfully Shell India will arrange to send the prize directly to the winner. Shell India reserves the right to withdraw the prize and draw an alternative winner where the winner fails to claim the prize within stipulated term or fails to produce the correct evidence or fails to abide by the rules/conditions/terms of the contest or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the contest or won using fraudulent means.

6. General

• The winner(s) are required to share their accurate contact details (including phone number, email address, etc.) with Shell India or its designated agency, to facilitate prize distribution. Failure to provide these details may result in forfeiture of the prize. Shell India reserves the right to request proof of a participant's eligibility in the event that there is a doubt over his/her eligibility for the promotion.
• Shell India will only use the personal data supplied by the participant for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose unless the participant has explicitly granted its consent in advance for the other purpose. Shell India will not sell or otherwise disclose personal data of participant unless the participant has explicitly granted its consent in advance. Participant’s personal data will at all times be kept confidential and managed in accordance with Shell Privacy Policy (https://www.shell.in/privacy.html). By participating in the this Contest, you agree to the use of your personal data as described herein.
• This Instagram contest or giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram or any other entity’s giveaway that the winners may receive. This contest is administered solely by Shell India.
• Any personal/income tax liability arising from receipt of the prize will be the responsibility of the recipient/winner.
• If any of the terms or conditions is determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining terms and conditions shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
• Failure by Shell India to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of its rights.
• Subject to the applicable laws, Shell India and its associated agencies and companies, shall have no liability for any delay and/or failure to perform any obligation to participants that is caused by: (a) technical problems of any kind which may limit or prevent any person’s participation in the promotion – either completing a booking or completing an entry; (b) any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the allocation of the reward; (c) any act or omission of any third party.
• Any disputes, differences and/or any other matters in relation to and arising out of this contest and/ or pertaining to these terms and conditions shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996. The venue of arbitration shall be Delhi India. The Rules of Arbitration of Delhi International Arbitration Centre (“Rules”) shall apply to the arbitration proceedings and the arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator to be appointed as per the Rules. The award of Arbitration shall be final and binding on the parties. The contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws in India and will be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi alone.
