Shell partners with AssisTech Foundation (ATF)
Every individual is unique in their own way. Hence, it is important to strive for a diverse and inclusive world, where everyone is treated equitably. When it comes to the matter of Disability, we sometimes oversee the positive changes that Persons with Disabilities (PwD) bring to build a better world. Gone are the days when “Disability Inclusion” was seen more of a charity model. Inclusive Startups in India challenges this mindset. So have we. At Shell, we aim to be one of the most diverse and inclusive companies in the world. Disability inclusion is a crucial step and one of the top priorities under the Shell Powering Progress strategy. We are very much delighted to embark on a wonderful journey, by supporting Startups in India, focusing on making lives of PwD more independent, productive, and fulfilling. This will in turn strengthen the entire Disability ecosystem. For accelerating and supporting this, Shell partners with AssisTech Foundation (ATF)
ATF Awards
As a first step in this journey, we are happy to partner with ATF in their ATF Awards. These awards are celebrations of innovation, compassion, and the relentless pursuit of creating positive change by leveraging Assistive Technology (AT). By acknowledging start-ups working tirelessly to enable individuals with disabilities, we aim to shine a spotlight on the incredible potential of assistive technology in promoting independence and dignity. Shell extends financial and non-financial (mentorship, knowledge and experience) support to the selected start-ups identified through ATF Awards.
