Duties and responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be empowered to manage key functions and develop your team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure full compliance with all Shell Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) policies and standards, proactively reducing risks by investigating incidents and correcting hazards.
• Supervise and mentor your production department employees, including team leads and operators, to maximise performance and workplaceengagement, Manage the production and supply chain functions to meet safety, financial, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Lead the planning and execution of operational budgets to support strategic and day-to-day business needs.Plan and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of defect-free products. This includes managing plant shutdowns, product changeovers, and daily operationsin a safe and efficient manner.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, and recommend and implement changes that would enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Required skills & qualifications

We are seeking an experienced professional with strong technical expertiseand proven leadership abilities. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment and is passionate about driving both performance and people development. • Must have a legal authorisation to work in India on a full-time basis.
• A Bachelor of Science Degree, preferably in an engineering discipline or another related technical field.
• A minimum of five (5+) years of experience in manufacturing or production management, combined with demonstrated leadership skills.
• A solid understanding of complex manufacturing equipment and production processes.
• Experience working within robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) and familiarity with Management of Change (MoC) principles.
• Proven ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of operational excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
