• The best ideas will be considered for funding upto 1 Lakh INR (individual entry) & 3 Lakh INR (group entry). Top -3 Individual entries and Top-3 Group entries will be awarded with seed funding.
• Mentoring & learning from Shell Mentors and Experts from the industry.

No, there is no reservation for any special group for the seed funding.

The program is open to all as the self-learning module is available at an open learning platform. Shell group of companies in India or LLF will not be seeking any approval of their college/institute from the participants. However, participants are suggested to assess, if their college or institute has any such requirements for them. For the Idea Competition, we would encourage you to propose a local mentor from your college/institute.

No , this is completely optional. However, we would encourage you to participate in the Idea Competition for enhanced learning and exposure.

You can complete the course as per your convenience. However, you are required to complete the self-learning module before submitting your entry for the “Idea competition”.

We would consider the entries from participants in English only.

Currently, the course is available in English.

It is recommended to form groups from the beginning for better teamwork and collaboration.

Maximum of 5 students can be a part of the group to submit a group entry for the Idea Competition.

Mentoring of the top 10 entries by experts will be done virtually. Students will be presenting their ideas to a jury through virtual platforms. However, the finalist (top 6 entries) might need to undertake visits to implement their ideas in either their college/institute or in their society.

An Eligible Student under the age of 18 at the time of registration for the Idea Competition must have the consent of his/her parent or legal guardian to accept these terms and conditions and to participate in the Competition

Yes. Participants can submit individual entries.

No. Participants must be a member of one team only.

Team members could be from different University/College/Institute as along as each team member meets the eligibility criteria.

No. Team members can be from different academic years as along as each team member meets the eligibility criteria.

Judges comprise of Shell senior leaders, external industry experts and venture capitalists.

In the case of a Team selected as a Finalist, at least one Team Participant must attend the Final Event on behalf of his/her Team. Such Teams will be required to confirm the availability of at least one Team Participant to attend the Final Event. In the event, that a Team does not provide such confirmation, Shell group of companies in India at its sole discretion may arrange for a replacement Team to be selected.
